Carousel
The carousel is an "image rotator" in which several photos can be uploaded that rotate after a fixed time. This element is to be applied only in the middle column and the images to be used must have the format 800 x 340 pixels to be displayed well. Can be used as eye catcher of every page.
How do I create a carousel?
- Select the WEB → Page module.
- In the page tree, select the desired page in which to create the carousel.
- In the center content area, click Create New Content Element.
- Select the Special Elements tab and click the Carousel element.
- Click the Add Image button and select all the images you want to be displayed.
- Don't forget to save.
The added images can be provided with a caption as well as a title. The title is only output as a mouseover (popup over the image when the mouse points to it) and the description of the image is shown below the image. A link can also be added, this is added with "Show more" also below the carousel and after the description.
The optimal dimensions of the images are currently 820 px x 340 px. If you upload a larger or smaller image to the carousel, the image will be displayed in the uploaded size. Therefore, please resize all images evenly before uploading them, as the image height affects the height and thus the position of the carousel, which then starts to "jump".
Note: The rotation speed cannot be changed.
