Teaser

A teaser consists of a subtitle, image, link and optionally a headline (which can also be linked). Teasers may be used in the left and right column, but here you should pay attention to the balance between left and right column. The number of five teasers on the left and three teasers on the right should not be exceeded.

How do I create a teaser?

  1. Select the WEB → Page module.
  2. In the page tree, select the desired page where you want the teaser to be.
  3. In the left or right content area, click Create New Content Item.
  4. Navigate to the Special Elements tab and select Teaser.
    • The Predefined Teaser option is already selected and you can directly click one of the images.
    • To create a Custom Teaser with your own image select the appropriate type. Confirm with OK that the form fields will be adjusted and add the image of the teaser using the Add Image button.
  5. Now you have to enter the text, the link and the alternative text.
  6. Do not forget to save!

If you do not have a suitable image available or if a link is to be set to UNIGRAZonline, for example, you can select the image that suits you and only need to add the text, the link and the alternative text.

You can upload your own image in the backend and add it in the teaser. The image will be displayed in 4:1 format and should have a minimum width of 800 px.

Note: If you add an image that is not in 4:1 format, the system will use any section of the image.

Here you can also use your own image, the height is variable in this case, the image should have a minimum width of 800 px. This teaser is suitable, for example, to advertise new publications or a current event or its program.

If you have entered the link under the Headline field, this link ONLY refers to the headline, if no headline has been entered, the link will not appear either.

To change the link now, the teaser must be opened in the backend, click on the added image to open the metadata and enter the new address here in the Link field.
